Cosmetically pretty nice looking Leica Summicron Dual Range, but unfortunately it comes without it’s goggles and optically the lens does have some issues. Chrome finish V1 Summilux 50mm f/1.4 for M mount which is a very nice rendering early version with lovely bokeh. Cosmetically the barrel has quite some wear on the hood mount front ring because of it’s cap and the filter thread has a small bump. Focus turns smoothly with good .....

Dual Range Leica Summicron 50mm f/2, which comes without the goggles, but is still a perfect user with pretty good looking barrel with just light wear. Focus turns smoothly and the aperture works correctly as well and has click stops at full aperture values. The optics are in good shape .....

Later V2 Leica Noctilux-M 50mm f/1 marked Leitz on the namering. The serial number indicates this lens has been made in 1982, which is rather late for the V2 version as in the same batch they already started making the V3. The lens comes with the matching 12539 lens hood .....

This Summilux 50mm F/1.4 version 2 is the perfect lens if you like to adapt it to a digital mirrorless camera. For many the Summilux is the holy grail for their Leica M4 or M6 for example. However, this copy has some issue with the focusing cam for the rangefinder. .....
