At introduction in 1930 the Elmar 35mm was the first interchangable wide angle lens for the 35mm format. Here we have a specimen made around 1937 and comes in coupled and chrome finish. The Elmar is also the smallest 35mm lens ever made for the Leica system. Still uncoated but .....

An outstanding user copy of the Summaron 35mm F/2.8 lens in LTM. This copy just has perfect machanics and good cosmetics. A great user for someone really buying it to be using it, not having it as collectors piece. The focus is well dampened and perfectly smooth, not too heavy .....

Interesting transistional variant of the Elmar 3.5 / 5cm lens in leica screw mount. All Nickel finish except for the focusing mount which comes in chrome. We have not earlier seen such variant and might be a later conversion by Leica service. The lens comes in an unrestored condition, some .....

Nice fast Summarit lens in Leica screw mount. Good user condition. We see some scuff marks to front coating and light cleaning scratches but the glass is still pruducing very nice images. light balsam visible to outer edge of internal element otherwise pretty clean internally and nothing which affects images. .....

Chrome Leica summar lens made in 1935, with the old aperture style scale. The barrel is still in good shape with some regular wear on the barrel. Focus turns smoothly and the aperture ring also turns light. Optically it is rather hazy sadly, which makes the lens a bit foggy .....
